His positive results are well welcomed by our team managers, who are supporting the driver from Singapore with the best that Kart Republic has to offer.

The Sauber Karting Team enters the Top 10 in Finland

In a difficult week end, with constantly changing weather conditions, our drivers had quite a hard time, despite showing solid performance, especially in dry conditions.
The Swiss Joshua Dufek made a brilliant qualifying session, scoring P3 and was strong during the heats as well; a contact at the start of the final sent him to the back of the pack, forcing him to recover.
It’s also been a tough week end for the Scotsman Dexter Patterson, who struggled during qualifying but wisely completed his heats staying away from troubles; he then recovered in the final, closing P6.
This was his last race in karting, and we would like to thank Kart Republic for the amazing support given to Dexter, who’s now going to step up to Formula 4 for 2020.

Patterson On The Championship Podium!

A bit unlucky this time, our driver from Scotland was in the fight for the title, but a difficult week end and a contact in the final, took our winning hopes away. Thanks to the big advantage accumulated in the previous rounds, Dexter still made it to be on the podium of the Championship, with a bronze medal.
This week end we also witnessed another great performance from the Swiss Dufek, who drove well in all phases and recovered from the back of the grid in the final. With a bit more luck, he’s going to be close to the podium soon!

Not an ideal week end for our drivers, not the one we were hoping for. Dexter Patterson started pretty well in qualifying, but then had some troubles during the final phases of the week end, and was forced to retire after being involved in a crash.
Josha Dufek also struggled a bit more this time, after a pretty bad qualifying session. But the driver from Switzerland didn’t give up and performed a good recovery; after starting 17th in the final, he made it into the Top 10.

Sauber Karting Team Leaves Sweden Still Leading The Championship

Sauber Karting Team had a bittersweet week end in Kristianstad, Sweden, during the third round of this 2019 edition of the CIK FIA European Championship.
Our driver Dexter Patterson was really competitive; he scored pole position on Friday and lead the pack during Saturday, and all the way to Sunday, after winning the pre final. At the start of the final he couldn’t avoid an aggressive overtaking attempt from one of his competitors, an episode that costed him many positions. After slipping back to P8, he started his recovery, eventually finishing 4th. He’s still leading the championship, but he and the team definitely deserved more after such a strong week end.
Very good performance for Joshua Dufek; the Swiss brilliantly recovered after bad qualifying sessions. He started 24th in the final and made it to P11, showing very good speed.
