Sauber Karting Team had a super weekend in Lonato

Fantastic week end for the Sauber Karting Team here in Lonato!
At this third round of the WSK Euro Series, Dexter Patterson was unstoppable, and scored a sensational win after dominating the race!
We’re even more happy for Joshua Dufek, our driver from Switzerland, who recovered very well after an unlucky qualifying session, finishing 2nd on his pre-final and 5th in the final, again after recovering from a complicated start.

OK winner, Dexer Patterson:

“My week end was very good! After scoring pole position on Friday and winning heats on Saturady, I made a good start in the final and tried to keep it consistent from there. I think that was the key to winning this race, and I’m really happy for the Team!”

Our Team Manager, Richard:

“I can’t say more than brilliant!
Dexter had a fantastic week end; after scoring a great pole position, he kept being strong all the way to the final, which seemed to be an easy win for him. Now he’s in 3rd place for the championship and can win the title next week end in Adria.
I’m happy for Joshua, he made a great race and keeps improving with consistency! This is his best result this year, and I’m sure he’s going to jump on the podium soon.
I’d like to thank the whole team, our mechanics and Iame Engines for the hard work!”

Joshua Dufek, OK driver:

“My week end didn’t start well; after a bad qualifying session I had to recover, and I made it to P13 after the heats. I started P7 in prefinal A and made it to finish 2nd! In the final, after a complicated start, I made it to finish 5th. I’m pretty happy, I think this is a very good result for me!”

Kart Republic General Manager, Dino Chiesa:

“OK is the clss where KR is stronger at the moment, and we keep pushing all the time.
Patterson won the race with authority, really happy about that! The Sauber Karting Team is working very well as they’re also taking Dufek to the top!”

We’re now heading towards Adria, for the final round of this 2019 edition of the WSK Euro Series, and Dexter can win the title!
