Christian Ho concludes the WSK Open Cup

Another series by WSK has come to an end and our new OKJ driver, Christian Ho, has taken the chance to launch himself into the competition with the Sauber Karting Team, learning our methodology and understanding the material, in preparation for next year.
His positive results are well welcomed by our team managers, who are supporting the driver from Singapore with the best that Kart Republic has to offer.

Sauber Karting Team WSK Euro Series, Adria

Not an ideal week end for our drivers, not the one we were hoping for. Dexter Patterson started pretty well in qualifying, but then had some troubles during the final phases of the week end, and was forced to retire after being involved in a crash.
Josha Dufek also struggled a bit more this time, after a pretty bad qualifying session. But the driver from Switzerland didn’t give up and performed a good recovery; after starting 17th in the final, he made it into the Top 10.

Sauber Karting Team Had a Super Weekend in Lonato

Fantastic week end for the Sauber Karting Team here in Lonato!
At this third round of the WSK Euro Series, Dexter Patterson was unstoppable, and scored a sensational win after dominating the race!
We’re even more happy for Joshua Dufek, our driver from Switzerland, who recovered very well after an unlucky qualifying session, finishing 2nd on his pre-final and 5th in the final, again after recovering from a complicated start.

Sauber Karting Team by Kart Republic, WSK Euro Series Sarno

The brand new Sauber Karting Team was born this week end in Sarno, during the first round of the WSK Euro Series!

We’re happy to start this partnership with Kart Republic and Dino Chiesa, probably the most famous Team Manager in this sport, due to his successes with the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg and Daniil Kvyat.
Sauber is now approaching the world of karting, seeking for the next talents to launch in the world of car racing.

About this racing week end, we had a great start with our driver Dexter Patterson, who scored a stunning pole position in OK class! Unfortunately, Dexter got involved in a series of contacts later on, but he showed his talent by furiously climbing the rank to the top, reaching P4 during the final. That’s when another contact happened and took him out of the race.
We all know it: this is racing! We believe Dexter will come back strong and competitive in the next racing weekends.
Also our driver Dufek, from Switzerland, was really competitive and we really enjoyed his racing style. After some misfortune on saturday, during the heats, he drove very well during the pre-final and recovered a lot of positions, moving up to P5 in the final.

Overall, it’s been a promising beginning, since the performance of our Kart Republic chassis is clearly there and the management of Dino Chiesa and Richard is strong.
